Divide - May 2012Hi everyone!
We are enjoying spring and looking forward to playing outside in the sun this month. Please see the attached schedule below. Here are the important dates to note: Wed 2nd: Bring in any unwanted children's clothes, toys or other items to swap for things that you do need. Those who bring things will get first pick. You can give and take as much as you would like. Anything leftover can be returned to you or donated. No money involved! Mon 7th: Our final class of 1234 Parents 9-11:30 Mon 14th: We will hope for nice weather and play outside at Florissant playground Wed 23rd: Field trip to Starsmore Discovery Center in Colorado Springs. Cost is $3 per child and includes an award winning environmental program about the five senses and ways in which animals use them. Should be a fun puppet show and hands-on activities followed by a hike around the woods. Wed 25th: Field trip to Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. We will meet at 9:30 and leisurely stroll around the exhibits together. Woodland Park - April 2012
Join us April 4 and 5 in our playroom for Easter activities, including an egg hunt! - On Thursday, April 12 we're headed to the Pioneer Museum in downtown Colorado Springs. The museum features exhibits on the history of the Pikes Peak Region. There is a fun picture scavenger hunt for the littler kids. Free for everyone. Meet there at 10 AM- On Wednesday, April 25 we are getting a guided tour of Venetucci Farms. The cost is $4 per child. Adults, and we assume infants, are free. Meet there at 9:30 am. Please bring exactchange~ All other days are in building crafting fun spring themed activities.
